CHEC is a joint campus with North Coast TAFE, SCU and a senior high school. This page is run by North Coast TAFE.
Located between Coffs Harbour and Sawtell, the Coffs Harbour Education Campus (CHEC) is an innovative new learning environment incorporating a Senior High School, TAFE and Southern Cross University on the one site.
The campus, which lies on the traditional lands of the Gumbaynggirr people, specialises in furniture design, hospitality, children's services and accounting, with good credit arrangements established for students articulating into university degrees.
Other vocational areas available at the campus include real estate, small business, horticulture, welfare, fine arts, information technology, engineering and hairdressing. Some on-campus accommodation is available for full-time students.
